rps with 4.11 m6

well im buying a '95 Black interior/exterior Z28

50k miles never recked
m6 t-tops

3500+new distributor(friend owns dealer)

well.. i was wondering the rps at 60mph with 4.11 in 6 gear...

I would guess maybe 2100 or so. They are about 1700 with stock gears.

not sure for 60 mph but I have kept track for 70 and 80 mph and they are 2250 for 70 and 2450 for 80 mph I believe 90s just a hair 0ver 2500 Its not bad at all, although it does take geting used to if you drove the car for a long time with 3.42. With those stock gears I was at 1900 rpm for 85 and 2500 for 100, so its not the same, but the acceleration is worth the extra rpm. I tend to drive slightly slower now keeping the same rpm as I had with the stock gears, I haven't noticed any mileage decrease, it has stayed the same considering I still get on the gas alot.
