Rpm Question!!

My car shifts at about 6200 rpm. Is that right?? Mayb my car has a cam? Wouldnt know.

doesnt have to have a cam, could have had the shift point raised in the PCM or by a hypertech power programmer

I don't know your situation or your car's history, but most likely, your redline is still 5800. Factory tachs are normally off; mine reads 200 high at idle, and 300 high at redline.
