Ok i bought some headers from a board member (not going to list any names as of now because) i'm going to try and solve this between the two of us. Ok so i bought a set of headers that were supposed to be mac's i work on my car for 11 hour's and have everything off i go to bolt the new headers up and this is when i realize the so called mac's have no egr provision, i get on mac's website and they don't offer a set of headers with no egr, i put two botls in the header to see if it fits and that's when i realize the air tube is now all the way in the back and not in the front like it used to be yet another problem. So snapped a few pictures for you guys to look at i'm positive these aren't mac headers i'm just curious as to what they are. Right now in a big bind becasue this is my daily driver and it's outside in pieces and i have noway of getting to school now.

hard to tell on the pic while they are on the car, but the last one you can tell they are mac's,

 

Why is the air tube in the rear on the passenger side and there's no egr hookup? I can't find any sites that sell mac headers without egr.
I know mac's don't come without egr and everyone else's mac's i see they have a the air tubes in the front. Also if you look closely you can tell the header flange is is like the stock one's like it has metal between the primary's while photo's of other mac headers have nothing between the primary's. I'll get another picture of it to show u.

Yours almost look like RK Sports to me. Measure the primary size.

 

Those dont look like my Macs. The AIR fittings are different and mine definately have a EGR.

Those definatley are not Macs from what I can tell. Was there ever a design change?

They could perhaps be a '93 header... but thats just a guess. I've never seen what the '93 header design looks like nor do I know what the exact differences are.

 

I know my 96-97 MAC's have that loop on the drivers side headers.

If those are MAC's then they are off of a 96 or 97 with the dual cat. They may also be off of an impalla. My MAC's have a 2 bolt flange on the bottom where the y-pipe bolts up. They look like they fit the impalla.

 

Well can we all agree that these were not made for a 94/95 z28 as advertised?

they are not rk sports. i know because the rk sports are in like ten million different pieces that i got pissed at leaking so i welded them. the rk sports also are pretty good build quality
