Hey guys on here agian. Like I said just rebuilt the engine and now my rpms are showing on the gauge. the neddle is dead like the car is off but it is running. anbody know if there is a plug up or something I missed?? Thanks

 

I assume you meant the RPM are NOT showing on the tachometer???

The tach gets its signal from pin A13 on the PCM.

Might want to mention at least the year of the car.

 

ya the needle on the tac is dead. It a 96 z. i just need to know is there a plug for it, i thought it was on the coil, but I'm not sure

 

The wire doesn't come from the coil... its a white wire, and it comes from pin A13 on the PCM (#13 on the "red" connector). The wire runs through the firewall to the dash. In a 95, its in connector C230.... not sure if its the same in the 96.
