Royal Purple?

Has anyone used the Royal Purple ICE or whatever it's called. It's for your radiator, and is supposed to help your car run a little cooler, and keep water pump seals lubed. What do you guys think?

Re: Royal Purple?

50/50 I have to be careful, though, we have some cold winters here.

Re: Royal Purple?

i forgot who said it or where i read it, but water has 4x the dissipation capabilities of coolant, runnin 70/30 should still get you thru the winter IMO...and if you dont feel safe, change it back to 50/50 around november...

Re: Royal Purple?

I havent tried the coolant additive yet but i did try their engine and tranny oil and from all other brands like castro, mobil, and valvoline, this is the best bang for the buck. car runs much smoother and has better accelaration and the tranny shifts smoother on low accelaration shift and nice firm shifts at 6k rpms when flooring it.....

Re: Royal Purple?

Unless you have a cooling system problem the stat and fans control temp, stuff like this only helps lower temps if your cooling system in inadequate.
