Angry rounded off header bolt, help!

On the passenger side, the two center header bolts (the ones that go around the center 2 primaries)

I am removing my heads - I got the driver's side head loosened fine, but I can't take it off until the passenger side is loose as well (I'm going to keep the coolant crossover tube attached).

And I can't take the passenger side head off because of the header.

The bolt isn't *too* rounded off, there are edges where a open end wrench holds it pretty good - its just that its a tight fit and its hard to get any leverage. the bolt is on there tight!

What are my options? THe car is not driveable, so I can't take it to a shop... any suggestions would help!

I know craftsman makes a tool if you round it off completely. Kinda like a screw extractor, but for the head of a bolt. Now getting it to the headder bolt could be a problem.

Thats a tough one.
Try and get it with the wrench but if that fails I would break out the vice grips and try to get a good grip on it and get it out of there, it is already tore up so tearing it up with the vice grips aint gonna matter, you are going to replace the bolt when you put it back together so I would concentrate on getting it out no matter how tore up it gets.
Try the normal way first, if all else fails go to the vice grips.

I have a set of the crafstman rounded of bolt sockets and the stripped screw removers as well. they both work good. I would recommend trying these first and if you can't get it out with them I agree that you should be replacing the bolts anyway so do whatever it takes no matter how bad you ruin the bolt. Vice grips usually work good for this.
