Roller Rocker Trunion - How can you tell if the trunion is worn?
I've been reading the threads on the Roller Rocker Trunions. I currently am running Comp Cams Pro Magnums 1.6 that I've had for about 10 years... not racing, mostly a daily driver.
I've connected a scanner (Snap On Counselor II) and was reading the pulse wave vacuum patterns and the intake of #1 is still somewhat low. Meaning, the intake isn't drawing as much vacuum as it should on cylinder #1. Long story. The image below - note the lower hump which is the intake pulse for the #1 Cylinder.

It isn't the lifter, it is a brand-new Comp Cams camshaft. One possibility is that the cam wasn't cut right... possible. Another is that the rocker trunion is wearing out.
How can I tell if the trunion is going bad? Is it by feel? Do I remove the rocker and feel for a burr?
