Looking though a summit or jegs you some time see lt1 rollar rocker then some time you dont see any listing. woundering if it just a money maker or do the really have a different setup?

Re: rocker arms??

The LT1 requires that you use self-aligning rockers (unless you modify the heads to use screw in studs and guideplates).

Re: rocker arms??

Aluminum head LT1's do not require any modification to use screw in studs. If you decide to use NSA (non-self aligning) rockers, you will have to use guideplates as mentioned above, but the stock rocker arm studs are screw-in type. ARP makes longer (for the guideplates) replacement screw-in type studs specifically for our application.

If you go to Thunder Racing's site and search by vehicle, you can see all of the specific stuff available for the LT1. I just swapped out my rockers a couple of weeks ago.

Re: rocker arms??

If you are thinking of aluminum roller rockers, you need to get a model designated to use with center bolt valve covers, they are narrower than the rockers made for perimeter bolt covers.
