Rocker arm stud question

Hey guys I have a question. The stock rocker arm stud size on lt1 heads is 3/8's. If I change to 7/16" does that mean i'll have to retap the stud holes?

thanks

Re: Rocker arm stud question

No, you do not.

The size refers to the size of the stud that the rocker sits on, not the threaded portion that threads into the head. 7/16" studs will work just fine (that is what I am using).
