rocker arm stud?

rocker arm stud?

Im switching to NSA rockers this winter with the GMPP guideplates, is the stock rocker going to have enough thread in it to screw into the head? if not, which 3/8 studs should I buy... part numbers if you guys could help me, thanks alot.

I would use the ARP studs.. have had good luck with them. if i get a chance i will try get my part a part number.

if you are making the change to nsa you may as well upgrade to 7/16 studs. you have to change the studs anyway and they dont cost anymore. +1 for arp

Check the GM guideplates for hardness before you put them on. Some have been reported to not be hardened properly.

A fine tooth file will skip off the edge of the guide piece (lite force). Check it near the groove. Do not touch the PR groove. A file will bite into soft metal. B.

Get the Trickflow guide plates and you won't have to worry about the hardness issue. Oh, and they're cheap ~$15.
