Rocker Adjustments...Hot or Cold??

I need to adjust my GM performance roller rockers and was wondering if it makes a difference to have the Engine warmed up or to have it dead cold to get the best results. For some reason im thinking that cold is better due to the expansion of metal when they are warm. Does this make sense or is doing it when its warm the best solution.

Thanks

As long as the rockers are pumped up it shouldn't matter.

Re: Rocker Adjustments...Hot or Cold??

do you mean the lifters or the rockers? Can that be achieved by releasing pressure from the lifter by loosening the rocker or just simply running the engine?

Thanks

In the case of solid lifters, lash is set hot. Hydraulics don't matter so much, because of the wide preload variation they can handle. Most of the time, if you set it cold, you are good to go.
