Roadtrip help on moded fbod!

Hey boys and girls i'm planning a road trip from the west coast of canada to the east coast and I was wondering for a solid 5000 km trip what kind of oil would be best to use? I'm usuing good old mobile 1 right now. Any other synthetic sugestions? It's also going to go down in march so weather conditions should be fairly decent.

If you have to worry about your oil breaking down in just 5000 km, then you need to find a new oil!

For the record, Mobil 1 is fine. Find something else to worry about, like gas money!

Thanks for the advice. I'm not worried about my oil breaking down or gas money I was just curious since most of our cars are drivin for short periods of time. Mods are stock bottom end, mild cam, headers and a few other bolt ons.

If I was going to take a trip that far. I would get a roll of duct tape and a gallon of water,Small tool kit, and something to keep you warm incase something does go wrong, And a cell phone that will work where ever you go. I always have my tires balanced before going on a long trip. Check all air pressure's, Fluid's etc....

Have a safe trip and good luck.
