I cant explain it much better than I did in the other post..
IF you have 'real' LT4 studs[7/16" with a SHOULDER on the stud, just below the threads, like in the pic in the link i posted in that other thread..] then yes, you tighten them down...
IF you do NOT have the shouldered studs [reg LT1 studs, etc] then you have to ADJUST the valves and lock the nuts...
[I suspect that you have the shouldered studs, that's why I posted that]
Are the heads LT1 heads? or REAL LT4 heads?
Did you change the studs?
Are the studs/RR's 3/8 or 7/16?
better yet can you take a pic of the studs you have?

HERE's a pic of the difference[LT1/'real' LT4]
http://www.hashmarks.com/techtips/va...eft_vs_Old.jpg
*************
The 1.6:1 roller fulcrum, roller-tipped rocker arms are a
modified version of Crane's design. By using these extruded
aluminum rocker arms, the engine effectively increases the
lift with the added advantage of less engine friction and a
smoother idle than the LT1.
The rocker arms sit on special shouldered 10mm studs, and are tightened down until they bottom out. This design eliminates the need for any kind of adjustment.
*************
The LT4 roller rockers are self-aligning (i.e. they have guides
to keep the rocker arm tip on the valve) but they are non-adjustable (i.e. torque 'em and go versus setting 0 lash + ¼ or ½ turn depending on preference).
In addition, the LT4 rocker arm studs are 10mm as opposed to the more common 3/8" or 7/16".
*************
GM part numbers for the studs:
12550011 lt4 stud ['real' LT4 stud]
12552126 lt1 stud
*************

Best I could find for you on the torque value is 18 ft lb [sounds to low to me though..]
