I think either way has in store a full bag of PITA when it comes time to change them

For me, the choice to stay stock location was purely an asthetic one. The more wires and crap I see, the uglier the engine bay is (to me). Stock location with a zip tie here and there and I've had no problems other than one rubbing a pulley because I should've paid a little more attention. No biggie, all part of the game...
