MSD-6A Ignition

How well do these work on a 95Z and will it work with ACCEL 9000 plug wires?

I know the rev limiter worked well as I bounced it many times. The hardest thing is deciding where to put it in an already cramped bay.

The 6A doesn't have a rev limiter, the 6AL has one.

I don't think you'll notice any difference after installing one. I have a 6AL on my car just to have an adj. rev limiter. Unless you can get a REALLY good deal on one I think you would be better off to spend the money on something else. My .02

where did you mount it? very little free space under the hood. any problems like radio interference , idle issues with stock injectors and ect. ?

I didn't have any problems mounting it or with it working. I mounted mine where the fuses are. (below the fuel line on the fender, next to the intake tube) I pulled it out of the clip and gently turn it around and placed it below the clip. In its place I mounted the 6AL box. The only wire I had to extaend was the positive wire.

i talked to someone who put in the 6a box, blaster coil, and harness, and he said it made a huge difference in the way the car ran, it was smooth and the throttle response was incredible he said.

Re: MSD-6A Ignition

I mounted mine between the fuse box and the fuel lines.
I did notice a smoother idle with the msd ignition but that's about it. Next time I get on the dyno I'm going to do runs with and without it hooked up and see what the difference is.
