rim and tire question

rim and tire question

the stock camaro wheel is 16x8, im pretty sure. would a 15x8 fit in there or what.

Of course, as long as it had the same bolt pattern.

Haven't you ever seen people bling blinging with bigger rims? Same applies to smaller ones -- but seriously, they look sort of weird. I think 17-18 is the best looking on these cars.


EDIT: And make sure to get tires for the 15" rims that would add up to equal the stock diameter, or else you've just changed your gear ratio.

Stock diameter of wheel + tire combined = keep it the same!

alright then, i dont think there is no way for that 15x8 rim to fit into my stock tires is there.

No, the stock tires will not fit on those 15x8 wheels because the tire is for a larger wheel.

Also, you have to watch out for brake clearance issues. I have heard of people having to grind the calipers to clear some 15 inch wheels.

Just be careful!

the rims, if i get any would be the cheap ar767, basically the black nomad wheel, i wonder if grinding would be needed on these
