Right turn signal dont work

My right turn signal wasnt working, hazards, the rear one will flash but the front one didnt, a right turn signal , the rear would light up but would not flash, the front wont light up at all.

Put a new bulb in the front, now both will flash if hazards are on, and for a right turn signal they just stay lit. What else can it be, would a flasher only allow one side to work but not the other, i'd figure none would work. Any ideas.

did you get the right bulb? I just changed out a "bad" bulb. Turns out it was a 3057 instead of a 3157

Mine are a 2057, the bad one was the same, funny thing is, it's only been in there for about a year.

Have you checked the condition of the socket?

Check the bulb on the other side as well. These bulbs have a propensity to both go bad at once. Mine did.

The other bulb(s) light up and flash, I cleaned the socket with rubbing alcohol, there some small spots that have rust, becuase the socket for some reason doesnt want to lock into place, but it's worked like that before, other than that, what would I look for in the socket. thanks
