I dont think so. Your flowmaster is limiting your potential. Take it to the track and get some numbers that matter

You might also be getting some knock retard... that could kill some hp as well. Do you have an LT4 knock module? Or you might get Ion to zero out the knock tables...I got my tune from him and was still getting 5* throughout the run. I zereoed it myself and it made an extra 5 hp.

I pulled the same hp as you, but I had 321 feet torque. I have intake, jet hots, y pipe with cat and hooker cat back.

i cutout is nice but fbody owners will probaly all agree the flowmaster is probally the worst exhaust for the lt1 and ls1 there is so much more out there i love my eldbrock rpm seiries it is in my opionon the most free flowing mufflier look at the internal set up it is real nice and simple no block offs for sound just straight through

Re: IS THIS RIGHT?! dyno numbers today..

Put a cutout on and get it dynoed again on the same dynojet. Then post both graphs. Then we can finally have some proof as to how much BLOWMASTERS SUCK. JMHO. I see you picking up 10 to 15 RWHP with a cutout or a good high flowing catback. I see most M6's putting down about 300 rwhp(give or take 5) and a little more torque than what you are putting down with intake and full exhaust. Not to be redundant(but to reiterate), blowmasters suck, if your numbers are a little low then they are most likely the culprit. Fix that and get it redynoed. End of thread

I always hear that LT1's dyno that low, but I rarely see one dyno 250 stock. And sorry dude, but 284 does seem a little low? My friend dynoed 310 and 350 with similar mods.

I have similar mods as you. My numbers in my signature on a Dynojet. Your torque numbers seem a little low.

Exactly, and he has headers... which adds to the "choking" effect that the blowmaster has on his car. And yes, it is as bad as we think it is. I remember an old thread on here where some company tested the cfm of all the catbacks. Flowmaster was last, by a longshot. I think borla and slp were at the top... Along with the cutout Anywho, I'm sober.

5rwhp at most by switching catbacks. At this power level the flowmaster isnt holding you back that much if at all.

Re: IS THIS RIGHT?! dyno numbers today..

I picked up an honest 10 rwhp peak and gains EVERYWHERE from my flowmasterd to my cutout. Only mods at the time was - none, except the flowmaster. 260 to 270 stock, no CAI, no throttlebody bypass, nada.
