IS THIS RIGHT?! dyno numbers today..
IS THIS RIGHT?! dyno numbers today..
Got my car dynoed today..284 rwhp 308lb torque..does that sound wrong? i was pissed when i heard thats all i have..seemed to peak at 5800 rpm..do these seem like right numbers to ne one else?
Re: IS THIS RIGHT?! dyno numbers today..
What was the air/fuel on it? Yeah, get rid of the chokemaster exhaust...I picked up 10 rwhp with a cutout on stock manifolds...should be worth more with headers.
Re: IS THIS RIGHT?! dyno numbers today..
The HP number is not too far off, maybe 5 rwhp low, but the tq seems about 10-15 rwtq too low. The flowmaster is probably holding you back. Like others said, what was your a/f? What hp/tq did you think you should get?

Actually, that's pretty good for the mods you have.
LT-1's usually dyno around 250-260rwhp stock, so you're doing well with 284, probably due to the long tubes.
You don't have any significant mods (besides the headers) that change the engine characteristics. You just have bolt-on stuff (besides the gears, which don't add HP)
