Auto or 6 speed? Dynojet or Mustang dyno? SAE, STD...corrected? Don't get hung up on dyno numbers...get some track times.

I would bet you would pick up a decent amount from a cutout, because the flowmaster systems are known for not flowing as well as other systems out there.

What was the air/fuel on it? Yeah, get rid of the chokemaster exhaust...I picked up 10 rwhp with a cutout on stock manifolds...should be worth more with headers.

The HP number is not too far off, maybe 5 rwhp low, but the tq seems about 10-15 rwtq too low. The flowmaster is probably holding you back. Like others said, what was your a/f? What hp/tq did you think you should get?

There is no number they *should* be. All cars are different, and all dynos are different.

Actually, that's pretty good for the mods you have.

LT-1's usually dyno around 250-260rwhp stock, so you're doing well with 284, probably due to the long tubes.

You don't have any significant mods (besides the headers) that change the engine characteristics. You just have bolt-on stuff (besides the gears, which don't add HP)
