Well It's in the car! Along with the transmission and driveshaft. Still lots to do but I knocked down a big hurdle today! ECM left for Ed Wright on Friday for the break in tune.... the hood closes with no mods(Suncoast ram air hood)

What headers require those adaptors on the head? Looks good.

Those are flange plate adaptors that allow the use of race headers. Since they permit a wider bolt pattern for the header flange, the pipes aren't restricted by the stock pattern. There's a clearer picture of them in Jeg's Catalog in the header section. The use of flange plate adaptors is widespread in racing applications.

Yeah I got a quote from Lemmons to build me a set for the new All-pro's with the Spread pattern, $1100. I didn't think that was too bad.

Who's Elbow are you using??

Headers are a 1 7/8 Hedman's Modified to work with A/C and power steering. Along with a 3.5 inch Y pipe and a 4 inch Mufflex.

Hey it's a street car! Gotta have A/C

95TTop, $1100...was for a COMPLETE set of headers? Coated and Ready to bolt on the car?

The elbow is from intakeelbows.com.

$1100 was uncoated and ready to bolt on, stepped with a 4in collector I think. Spread flange and slip on collectors.

I'm not sure who much getting a set coated is? 2-400 maybe??

What are you doing for PCV? I see two breathers, is there a vaccum pump in the works?

My Jet Hot MC-15 coating was $400, but I didn't pay shipping, they are 20 minutes from here, I just dropped them off.

I have talked to many people on the pcv deal. I am gonna run baffled breathers and see how it does. I was gonna run a pcv with an oil seperator...but am gonna try this first. Vacuum pumps only really work with a totally sealed engine...really work best on race applications.

With my setup I don't want ANY oil in the intake tract, not even a film. I am at the limits on pumpgas.

I have talked to Thunder Racing's guys about the PCV vs vents deal...I have a good friend with a 408 inch LS2 in a car he is daily driving(it's a NASTY combination)...it also has no pcv, just a vented catch can. Thunder built this car and I am watching how it does. Gotta think pcv only really came out with the advent of emissions...did the older cars even have it? I am talking mid 60's.

DO a search on here for Turbo6, he also has a NASTY 485 rwhp Lt1 with vents, no pcv.
