Thumbs down reversed?

if the evap valve going to the canister was reversed, would this cause a hesitation?? and also the valve is bad cuz it flows both ways! help me out... i was getting a p1441 code and kinda a hesitation off the line

That code means "flow during non-purge". That means there is something flowing into the throttle body when there isn't supposed to be (or the switch that detects the flow is messed up). The only way to get flow during non-purge would be if the EEC solenoid is not sealing, or stuck open, or if there are leaks in the vacuum lines between the purge solenoid and the TB. The solenoid should seal when there is no power applied to it.

If the vacuum lines were reversed going into the EVAP solenoid, that would cause a P1441.

what about the evap can. in the back of the car...thats what im talking about theres that little valve...i think that was reversed plus when i took it off the you could blow in both directions...meaning it was bad...would this give the code??
