reverse cooled radiator?

I'm doing my LT1 swap, and I understand that the thermostat hose connection goes to the bottom of the radiator, and the water pump connection on the driver's side goes to the top of the radiator, right? And the thermo. connection on the waterpump is the intake? I got confused when I read this below, which seems its flowing the other way... What's correct?

Reverse Flow Radiator:

Unlike a conventional cooling system, the thermostat coolant outlet is connected to the bottom of the radiator. This forces the coolant entering the radiator to push up through the radiator core and eventually emerge through the top radiator coolant outlet. This helps to eliminate air pockets in the radiator, and provides a more even distribution of cooling through the core and improving radiator efficiency.

I have a cutaway diagram that shows cooled coolant from the radiator entering the thermostat housing (that would be from the RH, bottom radiator outlet hose).

Can you post that diagram? Maybe it'll help me figure things out...
