does anyone know what the stock rev limiter is on my 97ss

If I remember right it's 6208.

They actually program it with one number for 1st gear, and another for 2nd to 6th gear...... and neither of those is 6208rpm in a stock PCM

I was starting to wonder if there was one, I've heard of one but on my stock 94z i've never hit it. I don't try to rev the heck out of it, but I've let it pull to 6k in second and it didn't do anything

Is this good because I shift gears at about 5800. If so is 6k ok on a stock motor?
