You can use Titanium retainer which which are very light or you can use the cast ones that comp sells. I dont think you'll go wrong either way, all the titaniums do is save a little weight off your valvetrain.

Iv'e got a set of 918's sitting in the closet. The retainers are part# 787-16, and the locks are 648-16. Hope that helps. And if you don't mind me asking, what cam are you using these springs with?

small... the 304 actually came out of it...this is a rebuild... i had a set of crappy springs come apart and eat my guide seals up..so i and rebuilding the heads and doing a stockish rebuild on the lower end........ my initial plans this summer was to build a 383......but i decided....i want a house instead..so im going back together with the engine on a budget...

i just want it running...so i dont have to tow it into my new garage.....lol
