ARE RESOLUTION being taken care of

Hi clarence, sorry for taking so long to respond with the email detailing the resolution to your situation with are.
Here are the things we discussed on the phone as a resolution for you which we had verbally agreed to as long as we deliver what I had proposed .
Here are the conditions which we discussed.

1)$1600 paid back to you in two payments of $800.One payment sent with the flywheel and the other with the balance of the parts approx.3-4 weeks after the first.
2)New GM lt1 flywheel with factory external balancing to be shipped with first check of$800.
3)New pistons @ 4.045 bore with a - 30cc dish and set up for a 5.850 rod( Lunati pro mod)
4)One set of lunati 5.850 pro mod rods.
5)LT1 felpro head gaskets.
6)Rings and pins to match combination.

I apologies for the situation you are in and give my word that it will be resolved to the conditions stated above.
I know the piston combination that is in the engine right now is not my personal design and does not have an issue now but respect your wishes to have the new parts sent even if you have no problems with the engine. At this point it doesn't matter who made the possible wrong decision as to piston design but we are taking the responibility in making things right knowing there may never be an issue with the current engine piston design.

I hope this is satisfactory to you and if you can respond with acceptance to the conditions that would be great.I know it is not of concern to you but ARE is dealing with some financial situations right now and we are doing our best to resolve your issues.

Sorry again for the position ARE has put you in.

Thanks,

Nick Agostino

I'll believe it after you get all the parts and money.

Apparently you don't know the situation. That is an email FROM the company, directed TO him.

This is the email from ARE Nick Agostino stating what he is going to do for me and I have a copy.
So now we wait and see if he is true to his word.
I'll keep you all posted.

I’m curious……. Does this cover your real costs and square up the deal?

Also in agreement with Ken that seeing is believing. An e-mail is one thing; actually getting the money is another. He screwed me big time on a deal we had on exchanging some of my parts for some of his plus some cash back. He basically reneged on everything he said and it took me an additional 3 months to get about a half he said he was sending.

A word of advice from personal experience: Don’t believe a word he says. He’ll tell ya exactly what ya want to hear, but actions are what counts.

ARE having financial problems?? Can’t imagine why.

The truth be known, he should be in jail for the crap he has pulled.
