ok first im sorry this is a repost. at least im sure it is. i did a search and well im not searching through all the results for what i need.
so with that said i need a new water pump and im wondering if i should stick with a factory pump or is an autozone pump ok? also whats it gonna set me back at the dealer? thanks Trey

Just a thought, but you could also go with an electric waterpump which gets installed into the orignal waterpump housing. I have a CSI pump and been running it for 2 years with no problems...
Do a search on electric water pumps (CSI and Meziere) for more info if interested...

I've thought about that but ive heard too many my electric pump just quit on me stories to justify the change and the minimal gains in power. ill still keep it in mind though. thanks. Trey
I've heard of people gaining 10+ rwhp when going to an electric pump. It'll work better and last longer than a replacement POS probably. I always say that if you can replace something that broke with a high-performance version, go for it.
