Replacing oil pan

I have a Vortech SC with an LT1 with the oil fitting welded in already. Plus I've had a leak since my cam change.

I'm going to have the tranny out this weekend anybody have any ideas on how hard it would be to swap pans with the motor is still in the car? Any pointers? Or should I just pay 195 to have a trusted shop do it?

Thanks,

Bobby

I would pay the $195 if you can TRUST the shop.....I put in my Canton Oil Pan last Saturday and started at 9am and finished at 6:30pm.....had to "make some adjustments" though.
