hey guys i have a 97 lt1 up to about 150k on it now looking to replace the motor and get something beefy to put in the car maybe go carborated...anybody have any suggestions on motors and any suppliers to buy from? thanks jon

it depends on what your goals are for the car..drag,track,daily with some power etc...once you no what your looken for i do believe theres a sponsor on this site called victory engines that make killer engine packages!!

Curious, why do you feel you need to replace your motor? 150K is not that much on a well maintained engine. Are you having problems with the car? And why do you want to go carb'ed?
Not saying you shouldn't replace it and a complete long block can be more cost effective then rebuilding.
Is your car an automatic or an M6?
