Replacement wires for Delteq

I need to get a new set of wires and I have the Delteq with the radiator mount. I am looking to replace the Delteq wires with accel extreme 9000. Do I need to get the big block wires or a different set? Any help or recomendations would be appreciated.

Chris

Wires ain't gonna be your problem. I run the stock Delteq wires up to redline without an issue.

Just grab a universal set and custom make you a set.. There plenty long enough, just cut to make fit.. Very easy to do..

The Delteq wires were OK until they burned up shortly after installation. The rubber on them seems very soft and not heat resistant. They had no chance with the SLP headers and #3 primary. There is only about a 1/4" of clearance if that between the plug boot and the headerr pipe. Will the universal kit have the correct boots and if I have to cut to length what is the best wasy to crimp the wire to the connecter? I have regular crimping tools at home will they work?

Go to autozone and check out there Accel wires. Part # 7041 Same ones i used on my car.. They come with the right boots and come with a crimping tool but its a crappy one.. Regualr crimping tools wont work very well.. I happy to have a MSD tool laying around, it worked perfect.. Accel also makes a hand held crimping tool that autozone sells as well. Let me know if ya have anymore questions..
