Replacement Starter?

Who sells an aftermarket starter for the LT1?

When something breaks, I like to upgrade.

Any part numbers would be appriciated.

JEG's sells the CVR starter for $150. Nice unit, allows the starter motor to be rotated to clear headers, etc.

The CSI starter is also lightweight, and a gear-reduction type, with plenty of cranking power to handle higher compression motors.
