replaced water pump and now have a oil leak

just like the title says... i replaced the water pump on my 97 z28 30thyr and now i have a oil leak thought it was the oil pan or timing cover but after looking more closely its doent seem to be coming from there.. any ideas on where this could be coming from???? thanks for all the help guys

sorry guys forgot to tell you that it is a lt1 motor

Potentially could be the drive seal from when you changed the pump..start there.

I second on the drive seal. You can disturb it and the timing cover when changing out the WP.

thanks guys ... ill let you know how things go after this weekend ill be putting in a new radaider so ill check the pump out at the same time... i did go on shoebox and found that there is a o-ring that i didnt know about there on the shaft that goes into the timing cover.. so ill change that and let you all know how it goes ... thanks for all your help
