ok I got my computer from pcm4less, either that wasnt it or I got another bad computer which I doubt. I tried a new ignition control module and thats not it either. Im really lost here and need help. I still have no fire and Im still not getting much of a tach output when crankng it. Is it another bad opti?

Are you sure you put it on correctly? This may seem like a ridiculous question, but its not hard to put that splined shaft on incorrectly. I thought I had mine on right the first time I did the swap because it slid on without anything noticeably odd. Went to fire up the car and no go. R&R again and this time paint marked the splined shaft, and made sure several times I could remove it and reinsert it with "no" force at all, then it fired up after that just fine.

what I did was watch the billet piece behind the opti to make sure it didnt move when I slid it on. I have done the opti 4 times now with the 3 I have sitting in my room. I cant get the spark on either of them

edit: I just went out there and the truck fired right up! I swear it fixed itself! its back to a high idle and doesnt feel right but it is running
