Angry Replace resignator or purchase catback

Hello all,
I am going to due one of these steps above but was wanting some help on the issue. I have searched and found a few replacement mufflers for the LM but all of them are said to still be very loud. I am not looking for a super quite exhaust but I would like to change it to a nicer tone at a lower note. It is deff cheaper to replace the resignator but I do not know of a muffler that can fit in there and still quite it down alot at the same time. So basically does anyone first know of a muffler that could suit my needs. I als0 considered trying to find someones old stock exhaust and just put it back on with a e cutout for the best of both. The car is a 97 trans-am.

Thanks

What is LM? What is a resignator?... you mean resonator?

Put a post in the "Cars/Parts Wanted" section... you may be able to pick up a stock, take-off cat-back there.

it is a Loud Mouth and the system uses a resignator instead of a muffler which makes it very loud

I would try what a said earlier about posting in the wanted section... there's got to be someone with a stock exhaust laying around that would love to get it out of their way. They may even give it to you for free if you paid for shipping. I would, but I took mine to the dump. Good luck.
