Removing water pump impeller?

This may sound dumb, but i cant seem to figure out how the impeller comes out of my water pump. I had it at a machine shop getting sandblasted, and i asked them to press it out for me while it was there and they tried and couldn't, and they also didnt know how the impeller comes off. It looks like it is threaded onto the shaft right?

Any tips? Thanks

It's not threaded, it's pressed on, I just used a hammer and punch and drove the shaft out of the impeller.

Yea I went through the same issue. Just get a punch and put it on the stud goin through the impellor and hammer it out. Make sure to push it out through the back. Thats what I was doing wrong.
