Removing traction control

I know this has prob been asked several times, I did a serch but with no luck. So has anyone ever removed the traction control motor, and still keep your abs? Or has anyone just reloacted it. I was to put furl rail covers on my car, but cant because of the tcs motor. Anyhelp is appreciated thanks

I took mine off, and still have abs. I had to get a new throttle cable, and a new cruize control box. I dont know the technical term.

I got the throttle cable # after asking the same question a while back.

It should be p/n 12550676. I dont have the cruise control cable # but still need it.

I'm looking to do this too, I will eventually remove my ABS system, but I want to get rid of the ASR solenoid first. Also would I have to get a new cruise control setup?

Thanks

Is there a way to retain ABS and still delete the ASR?

Download that manual thing that was posted here last week, and you can see how to convert to a normal non ASR car, with some ECM programming, you should be able to keep ABS without a hiccup.

I found all the part numbers for every bracket in those 2 pages, if you guys want I can prolly post those 2 pages as JPEG's.
