i wanna remove the ugly silencer on the elbow. how do i do it with out buying a new aftermarket one?

 

I would just buy a aftermarked elbow they look better also you dont have to hack up your stock one. Look in the forsale on this board somebody is always selling their stuff.

 

You can buy one of these or you can spend a little more and just buy a brand new elbow. The other option (if you're not too concerned about looks, and are looking to save some money) is that some people have plugged up the resonator hole with a shampoo bottle.

 

I took some sheet metal and traced out the design. I cut it a little larger, then shoved it in there up to a lip inside. Then glued it in with some 2 ton expoy. It works great and you can't see it.
