Removing Rear shocks
Removing Rear shocks
Where is that bolt that connects to the top of the fender? I took off the rear quarter panels that cover up the sub and the spare tire but I dont see it. Is it underneath the rear passenger panels? And if they are how do u get that coat hanger clip off so you can remove those panels?
Any other tips and info would be appreciated to make the shock removal easier.

It easy but a bad in the a$$, The 2 bolts are located under the rear carpet just on top of the trunk lid. Your going to need to roll the carpet. There will be foam inserts remove them and you'll see the top of the bolts.

lol, i spent about 30 min looking for those damn top bolts the first time i did RR shocks.
pull the back seat down. take off the quarter moldings in the hatch, AND the side moldings that go past your rear speakers and beside the rear seat. then, pull the carpet back to about the rear seat. there is a slant that starts at the floor boards under your rear seats and goes up to your hatch area. the mounts/bolts are on the slant near the top. once you find everything, its fairly simple.
good luck and any more Qs ask away!
