removing keyed hub off crank???

removing keyed hub off crank???

I am trying to remove the hub that holds the balancer. I am trying to remove it off the snout of the crank.

Jaw puller wont work, what did you guys use...

A common mistake is that your pushing against the hub with the center bolt of your puller. You need to may sure you're pushing against the crank and the not the hub.

Remove the center bolt (5/8", I believe) and use a crank pulley puller. Get some long 9/16" bolts (old water pump bolts work well) and use washers. It'll pop off.

And, just for clarification... if your hub is stock, it isn't keyed to the crank.
