All you need to do is bend down and look under the seat. There are four studs attached to the floor, two at the front and two at the back of the seat. They may still have the little rubber caps that came from the factory. Remove the rubber caps, remove the nut from each stud. If you have a power seat, disconnect the harness connector, and lift the seat off the studs. Not very difficult at all.

When the seat is out, take the time to look at the studs where they attach to the floor. I found a couple of them starting to crack at the welds.

Yep, its very easy. Just slide the seat back and get the front bolts, then slide it up and get the back bolts.

im looking into getting this one pair of R1 seats off craigslist and it says it comes "with the sliders". Are there different sliders for different cars or are they pretty much universal?

Not sure about the sliders, but if you want to keep acess to your back seats, they make reclining racing seats.

corbeau seats recommend you buy their mounting brackets - and they are not too cheap either.

They are also excessively heavy, and not "double locking" as required by NHRA. I saved 23# by replacing my stock, non-powered cloth seat with a Corbeau Forza, and then gave back 10# for the extra weight of the slider.
