Removing Crank Hub

Ive read several mixed results.. I still have the Opti on and the engine appears to be seized (I cant rotate the hub to get the Opti Off) So I basically have zero space behind the hub to get a jaw puller on there. Someone recomended using a different style puller.. and I was wondering what they were refering too. Also I have a Harmonic Balancer Puller... Would this work if I used nuts and bolts ?? Looking for suggestions. Thanks.

If you are really talking about the hub, you can use a regular harmonic balancer puller, but you need to put something strong down the center of the bolt hole to push against.

Thanks man. So I should use something in place of the crank bolt that will actually bottom out? I dont want to damage anything.

I pushed against a 5-6 inch long 1/4 inch drive ratchet extension, it worked awesome. I didnt want to risk ruining the crank threads/ breaking the bolt.

Exactly how I did it...worked perfect....go get ur harmonic puller, unthread the hub bolt 3/4 of the way and go to town...
