Removed EGR, can I remove the solenoid the PCM harness plugs into?
You know, the part that the PCM harness plugs into and runs a line to the driver's side of the manifold...
I can get a pic of the part if needed..
This is an OBD1 car. Will I have a code? Will I have a code if I plug the solenoid back in but add vacuum caps on it?

Re: Removed EGR, can I remove the solenoid the PCM harness plugs into?
It's easy to unplug that connector to check, if it's set a code you can plug it back on. I highly doubt it'll set an SES due to being OBD1.

Wrong.... the missing EGR solenoid will set DTC 27 when it tests the EGR solenoid electrical circuit and finds nothing on the other end. If you want to remove the solenoid, measure the resistance and substitute a matching resistor in the pins of the harness connector.
