Well, Z95m6, I remember that ground being hand tight. I'm going to tighten it first thing in the morning. I hope it works.. thanks for all the help [all of you].
Its just hard to think its actually electrical.
But I have a video of the car running the first time I started it up and seems good. I was adjusting the valves and was bleeding the cooling system. But it appears to be running very well. Maybe it loosened the ground by the time I had a chance to drive it? I hope so!!
Anyone have pics of ALL the grounds so I can see each and every one? That would be nice.
Edit I checked it, seemed to be on okay, loose but it wasnt moving. Only one ground was connected to it, is that correct?

Well I tightened all the grounds on the passenger side of the block.
To verify there were two, one on the motor mount and one close to the starter on the block.
I tried to run the car without my MSD box hooked up and it wouldnt turn on. With the MSD it fired up but problem persisted. Any more ideas?? It does indeed seem electrical... when I revved the motor the tach moved strangely and the speedo moved a little bit too. Ive never seen it do that.
Ideas??

I am sorry but I still think it looks a tooth off. If u looked at the picture, u would only have to turn the crank counter-clockwise a tiny bit to get it at 12 o'clock. But in the picture the cam gear is past 6 o'clock and would also be moving in a counter clockwise direction. Thus, if u turned the crank counter clockwise to try and line it up at 12 o'clock the cam gear is just going to move farther away. Then again, it could be the angle of the picture that is tricky me but I dont think so.

Sorry I didn't realize you had stock manifolds. You still might be able to see some arcing. I can't remember what the stockers look like. What do you have to lose, a couple minutes worth of idling.
