I't will sound better. And mine would pop when I let off the gas at high RPM's. As stated above you don't need a tune. And you probably will not get and HP.

It will wake up alot depending on how bad your CAT is plugged. It's just and all around improvement. You will also notice a little better throttle response

If you don't have a Magnaflow catback on your car you should not reply. You are giving this guy bad advice. The magnaflow is totally different from your typical flowmaster, hooker catbacks. The magnaflow has no baffle for the right exhaust pipe. It is a dump with a loop in it. It he takes the cat off he will basically be running open headers. If he cuts the cat he will just have to turn right around and put another cat or muffler in its place. I agree that it he had a different catback definitly cut the cat off, but not with Magnaflow.

Well just picked up my car from my friend's shop. He did the exhaust for me. R.I.P Cat but all i gotta say is . The car woke up a lot. I can agree about about a donut and about close to 10 burnout and slide out. So far I am loving the exhaust. It's loud. But the neighbor's aren't happy oh well....thanx for all the replies guys.

I would just go ahead and leave it on IMO
unless you have to replace it because of some problem
