i currently have the RK sports headers, i have my hot cam going in and was thinking about putting long tubes on it at the same time becauase i assumed the not quite shorties but not quite mids might suffocate it a little. any opinion on this? would also give me a great excuse for true duals

 

I wouldn't quite say it suffocates a hotcam , but you will see gains with long tubes over your current headers. Probably 15-20 HP.

I don't know if you would really see that much of a gain, AS&M/RK Sports are pretty much the best mids out there. Maybe consider using money else where....

 

if you go with long tubes you can probably expect 10hp over what you currently have and maybe 5hp for the true duels and then you have clerance issues not worth it imop, atleast the duels arent worth it, you may see incresses on the dyno but probally wont feel the difference, but hey its your money!

 

hmm, ok. i was looking into them for no reason than they sounds really darn cool, more hp is just an excuse to put them on
