Removal of PCM?

My hot cam kit is ALMOST done and right after I get my car I'm going back to college....without the TA!

ANYWAYS because it's just going to be sitting for a few weeks I thought now would be the best time to tune my computer, because I won't really be losing the car for the week and a half-2 weeks or however long it takes. So how do I go about removing my computer from the car and mailing it to Bryan? Do I have to cut any wires?

No cutting necessary, it is very very easy. Just remove the two 10mm mounting bolts and pull it out. Then disconnect the wire packs, there are four and they are color coded. Remove the plastic bracket and you are good to go. Email Bryan about shipping it to him, he is very quick and a great guy to work with.

that is good news to me BUT! i had to break the plastic because the screws were stripped and i had NOTHING literally to get them out with.

Re: Removal of PCM?

yeah that is true, but i couldn't get the metal case to fit through the hole so i had to bend it because of the stripped screws. the pcm was loose, i just couldn't get it out at all. does anyone know the replacement plastic cover?
