Recurring codes
I keep getting a 91 - skip shift lamp circuit; and an 84 - Transmission 3-2 control solenoid circuit. I clear them out but they just return. Questions: how do I solve them permanently; will either create a problem of any sort and exactly what do they mean??
Thanks

You have to use the correct code list.

There is a DTC 84 for the A4 (3-2 Control Solenoid Circuit) and for the M6 (Skip shift solenoid circuit). Since you have an M6, it indicates your skip shift solenoid is unplugged or burned out. DTC 91 would indicate the skip shift lamp is burned out, or the wire has been cut or disconnected at the PCM connector. To clear DTC 84, plug a 2.2Kohm resistor into the harness connector, or but a "skip shift eliminator". To clear DTC 91, either replace the bulb or reconnect the wire.
