Recent engine removal concerns

I recently removed the engine from my 97 z28. The only problem i found was those damn vacuum lines that are so brittle that they break when u touch them. I was wondering what differance it would make as far as just removeing the emissions vacuum stuff or if i would definatly need that stuff. Anyone who may have ran into this problem or may have a solution to my problem, i need some advice! Please help.

Re: Recent engine removal concerns

Just use vacuum hose to replace the lines where they broke.
