I have a hard time believing your motor is shot, unless it has had the living hell ran out of it. LT1s leak. Ours are 14 years old.

I dont think my engine is going, I am just worried cause the last 350 I had I got a rod knock and didn't do anything about it when it was early, and I want a faster car, but I dont really want to spend the money on a new car...Basically I am gonna fix the oil leak (cause I am sick of smelling burning oil) and since I am gonna have the whole engine out why not just rebuild it??? Save me money and time down the road...IMO...Yeah I know I dont have many mods listed in my sig...thats why I want to do the rebuild, then I can put performance list on there. I am not positive that it is a rod knock but thats what it sounds like, but I am not totally positive on that...
