rear main seal

rear main seal

The rear main seal has 2 small bolts, a long bolt, and a stud. does the stud go in the right side of the block where the dowell pin is or the opposite side (left side)

Awesome pick thanks. Not tryin to sound like a dumbass but what is the stud for? Because I already put it on the opposite side from what the picture shows, does it really matter?

Oil pan alignment/secure.
