rear main seal

has anyone replaced this i know the basics pull tranny and so on but what about putting in the new seal is there any special tools needed if so anything that will work besides the tool thanks for the help

I put my new RMS in with my bare hands and then tapped around it lightly and evenly with a hammer. No leaks so far. I have heard that a 4" piece of PVC works, since you just set it over the RMS and a block of wood over that, then hit it with a hammer.
